Pecan Protein Squares
Pecan protein squares are fat packed, protein rich and fibre filled snacks which help us to keep blood sugar balanced, energy boosted & focus fed. This snack provides good sources of magnesium, calcium and potassium. It is grain free and suitable for vegans.
Recipe: in a food processor (not nutribullet) combine 1 cup of pecans lightly toasted to release natural sweetness, 1/2 cup of raw cacao, 1 cup ground almond, 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut, 1/2 cup odourless coconut oil, 1/4 cup of maple syrup.
Press mix firmly into a baking paper lined dish, pop in fridge, cut into squares & keep stored in tupperware in the fridge. A great afternoon school snack for all the family, one of my revision favourites.
